As strict rules apply to pharmaceutical companies when organising, sponsoring or participating in medical events and conferences, whereby the costs must be made public in the health care transparency register, Jaarbeurs underwent a thorough audit, assessment and training solution created by Compliant Venues Ltd to prove our compliance with these regulations.

As such, we have been awarded the Green Healthcare Certificate, showing that we can support the compliance policies and agreements for specific needs during the organisation of a meeting in the medical sector.

Several of our team members have also been trained and have been awarded the Healthcare Champion title.

Located in the heart of the Netherlands

Jaarbeurs in Utrecht is the largest Exhibition and Conference venue in the Netherlands and offers a broad range of meeting and corporate event facilities for 2 to 1500 delegates as well as an Exhibition Centre spread over 11 halls with a total area of 100,000 m2.

Located in the central city of Utrecht, Jaarbeurs is within 5 minutes walking distance from the Central train station and the heart of the center and limited distraction from tourist-sites.

Schiphol Airport can be reached within 20 minutes via a direct train connection and by car within 40 minutes.

Due to the central location of Utrecht, the Utrecht Central train station is the hub of the national train network, offering direct connections to all major cities in the Netherlands as well as convenient train connections to major European cities. For delegates driving, Jaarbeurs has a total of 4.300 parking spaces.

The UMC (University Medical Centre of Utrecht) and the Uithof (Utrecht science centre) is easy to reach, as well as any other major medical centre in the country such as Radboud UMC, AMC, WKZ, TU Delft.

Aside from offering a diverse range of venue facilities for external events, a number of fairs and conferences specific to the healthcare market are organized by and at the Jaarbeurs each year, such as ‘Zorg & ICT’ and ‘Dutch Health Week’.

One of Jaarbeurs' latest initiatives is the Dutch Health Hub, a knowledge and innovation platform that aims to be an engine for future-proof healthcare. Dutch Health Hub works to bring parties together and activate them by creating new coalitions that work together and innovate. With the goal of affordable, better and more sustainable care with more attention to health and prevention.
